Write about use, not just finishes
A phrase such as a better basement can mean different scopes. Explain who will use the room, what does not work today and which activity matters most. Mention known moisture conditions, equipment and any bathroom, bedroom or window changes. Label uncertain measurements as rough and keep unsupported diagnoses out of the brief.
Keep the same starting point
Send or read the same brief to each contractor you compare. When the plan changes, save a revised version so a later quote can be tied to the right scope. The tool does not send your writing to Homerix automatically. Choose the contact page when you want to make an inquiry and review the sharing permission there.
What the output means
Text stays in the current browser page until you copy, print or explicitly submit a separate inquiry.
Your next steps
- Name the room’s main job.
- List fixed constraints.
- Rank your priorities.
- Separate known facts from questions.
Homerix planning resources help you prepare questions. Confirm site conditions, requirements and construction decisions with the appropriate contractor or authority. Room images are generated design inspiration.
